Exploring Connectional Architecture of the Prefrontal Cortex (PFC)


Prefrontal cortex (PFC) plays a central role in orchestrating various cognitive functions and evolved greatly in primate lineage. The understanding of its connectional architecture in a primate model is, therefore, critical in extrapolating the animal data to humans. Here we report a brain-wide, connectomics mapping of the marmoset PFC projections using serial two-photon tomography imaging.
